Nomadic Life of "Tuareg"
Total: Approximately two years’ residence and field research over a ten-year period in camps of nomads in the Central Sahara desert. Field research among nomads in the Central Sahara desert is hardly possible in the summer season due to the extreme clima condition.
Since 2012 field research among nomads in the Central Sahara desert is not possible due to security issues.
The field researches among nomads were carried out without accompaniment or translator. I mainly carried out fieldwork among Imuhar nomads in the Ahnet and Ahaggar Mountains in Algeria but also in the Air Mountains in Niger.
